- Babysitter / Sitter — individuals offering childcare or care services
- Parent — individuals seeking care services
- Services — care services facilitated by the platform
3. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to contract, and provide accurate information.
4. Registration
You are responsible for your account credentials and must notify us of unauthorized access.
5. Services
Global Sitters is a platform connecting parents and sitters. We are not the employer of sitters. We collect payment from parents and pay sitters minus platform commission (40%). Disputes between parents and sitters are primarily between those parties.
6. Background checks
We may verify identity or documents but do not guarantee background checks. Parents must perform their own due diligence.
7. User conduct
Provide accurate information, use the site lawfully, and do not post unlawful or infringing content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
8. Payment
Payment terms are handled through the platform. A 40% commission applies to completed jobs unless otherwise stated.
9. Limitation of liability
Global Sitters is not liable for loss, damage, or injury from interactions between parents and sitters. Services are provided "as is" without implied warranties.
10. Termination
We may suspend access at our discretion for violations of these terms.
11. Intellectual property
Site content is owned by Global Sitters or licensors and may not be copied without permission.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
14. Cancellation
Parents may cancel via the booking page in the platform. Fees may apply depending on notice period (e.g. free up to 24 hours before start; fees for late cancellation — see booking flow for current policy).
