Quick start for sitters & caregivers

Register as a Sitter — Choose childcare, senior care, or both at signup.
Complete your profile — Photo, bio, experience, hourly rate, languages, and passport (admin only).
Work areas — Select Amsterdam districts you serve, or tick "all of Amsterdam".
Weekly hours — Add recurring days you are generally available.
Monthly calendar — Open the calendar modal to set specific days and hours (defaults to 24h per day; clear or adjust as needed).
Submit for review — Admin approves your profile before you appear in search.
Bookings — Accept or decline requests from your dashboard; message parents in the booking chat.
Get paid — Payouts are handled after completed jobs (platform commission 40%).

Tips for a strong profile

Upload a clear profile photo and optional 30-second intro video
Add verified certifications (CPR, first aid, childcare training)
Keep your calendar up to date so parents find you for the right dates
